What to have ready when you call
- The full property address, including ZIP code and unit number.
- What happened and when you first noticed it: burst pipe, appliance leak, storm, sewage backup, fire, or something else.
- Whether the water source is stopped, and whether power is off to wet areas.
- Which rooms and floors are affected, and roughly how large the wet area is.
- Whether you rent or own, and your insurance company and claim number if you already have one.
- Any access notes: gate codes, pets, building management contacts or parking restrictions.
What happens next
A technician inspects the property, measures moisture or contamination, explains the scope of work and starts mitigation once you approve. You receive photos, moisture readings and drying records for your insurance file.
